Onsite Services + Fees
Wenatchee Community Acupuncture offers a blend of onsite and telehealth options for accessing services. This hybrid approach allows for convenience and increased access to services regardless of where you might live in relation to WCA’s “brick and mortar” location. WCA strives to be accessible, convenient and flexible to meet your needs.
Community Acupuncture
Community acupuncture is a safe, effective and affordable style of acupuncture where people are treated in a relaxing, comfortable group setting. Each treatment is specific to the person needs and concerns and is offered on a sliding scale fee to make frequent treatment affordable. Acupuncture can treat a variety of conditions, signs and symptoms. First visits are $60 with a sliding scale fee of $30-60 for return visits. WCA seeks to serve all who need acupuncture. Please contact us if price is prohibitive and we can work it out.
Herbal Medicine + Food Therapy
Food is medicine and plants are our allies. As our modern lifestyles have evolved, more traditional methods of balancing us out have re-emerged, including the use of herbal medicine and incorporating a “food as medicine” dietary approach. Herbal medicine and food therapy consultations are available for those wishing to incorporate dietary changes and/or herbal formulas for chronic conditions. WCA also carries a variety of over the counter herbal formulas and essential oils for acute conditions. Consultation fees are determined on the complexity of case and level of support required. Herbs, essential oils and other products are priced separately.
Private Acupuncture
Sometimes, one-on-one treatments are desired and WCA offers private acupuncture sessions by appointment. Drawing from the teachings of Daoist Master and Chinese Medicine scholar, Jeffrey Yuen and Jill's other studies, these Chinese Medicine-influenced sessions may combine acupuncture, cupping, essential oils, stone medicine, sound therapy and the energy modality, Sat Nam Raysayan. Private appointments are $90.
Cupping
Cupping is an ancient and powerful tool used in many cultures across the world to treat a wide variety of conditions. A cupping session entails the placement of glass, bamboo or plastic cups on the body with a suction force to pull toxins and stagnation from the deeper parts of the tissue layers to the surface. It can essentially be thought of as a "reverse massage", where instead of pressure being applied to the tissues of body in a downward motion, the suction of the cupping pulls the tissues upward. Cupping sessions can be a stand alone treatment for $35 or combined with community acupuncture visit for an additional $25.
Ear Acupuncture
Ear Acupuncture - also known as NADA, 5NP or Battlefield Acupuncture - is a specific acupuncture protocol for addiction, mood dysregulation, trauma and stress. NADA has been used for decades in addiction treatment centers, behavioral health centers, in war zones and after natural and human-imposed disasters. Reported benefits include: reduced cravings for alcohol and drugs, including nicotine; minimized withdrawal symptoms; increased calmness, better sleep, and less agitation; relief from stress and emotional trauma; an easier connection with counseling; a discovery of inner quiet and strength. NADA is offered throughout the week. Treatments last about 30 minutes and are on a sliding scale of $15-25.
Yoga + Meditation
Inner Teacher Kundalini Yoga (ITKY) is offered within WCA. ITKY draws from historical yoga and contemplative lineages to create a mindfulness based approach to asana, pranayama and meditation. Inspired by the times we live in, classes encourage a direct and compassionate relationship with your own intuition, body and mind. Participants are invited to explore the outer reaches of their own comfort zone - whether it be physical, mental or emotional - within the safe container of their own self-agency. Exploring in this way is critical to personal and collective evolution. Weekly classes and series are on select Wednesdays at 5:30 pm. Check out more information here.
